I went to kneucraft to look for an anniversary ring. Apon walking in I was very disappointed. I also noticed the gentleman assisting me pulled diamonds out of his pocket. I was appalled to think someone would treat diamonds that way that were to be sold. I also was Not impressed that there was jewelry previous owned by someone else. All together it was a very disappointing experience and I will be shopping else where for my anniversary ring.
I just went a purchased an engagement ring with my soon-to-be fiancee. She wanted to pick out her ring to ensure she would like it, and I wouldn't be obligated to spend too much. Several of her coworkers recommended Kneucraft.
The owner had appraised a ring for me that I bought elsewhere and found that it was worth a lot less than I paid for it. Seeing my disappointment he didn't charge me for the appraisal and gave me some advice to remedy the situation. I was able to get a refund for the ring and Kneucraft was the first place my fiancé and I went to. She found a ring (designed by the owner of the shop) that was very similar to the one we returned and it had set within it a much bigger and higher quality diamond. The price was also very close to what we spent on the last one as well. He gave us an appraisal for my insurance and we were happily on our way. We’ll be going there again to purchase our wedding bands!
My husband and I brought my engagement ring and wrap and anniversary ring into this jeweler and had 2 rings created out of the three. The rings I brought in were yellow gold. When I picked the rings up with in a day it was turning my finger green . I had yellow gold rings that never turned my finger green. I called and was told it was something I must have eaten . I changed my diet and ring still turns finger green. I called again and was told it must have been lotion I used. Stopped using lotion ring still turned finger green. I called again and was told if I wanted to pay for gold again $600 they would repour my ring but could not guarantee it would fix the problem. Totally disgusted that my rings are ruined and I now have rings I can’t wear. I’m not sure what is wrong with gold they use but don’t go there. The owner offered no apology and just wanted to charge me more money.
The woman helping us was friendly and listened to my girlfriend's requirements and what she liked. She made sure to involve me in the conversation, and offered up the prices on several items we looked at, something most jewelry stores don't do. The price is either not on the item, or it's not mentioned till the ring is chosen. My girlfriend decided on a sapphire and diamond white gold, and I was pleasantly surprised it was under $600. We were checked out, and told the next day it would be plated to stop yellowing, and sized properly.
Recently received my engagement ring from here & went in to have a scratch buffed out of the band & am so happy about the service! The owner is just amazing and so helpful & really made me feel comfortable!!! I strongly recommend this business for all jewelery needs!!
I can't say enough good stuff about this place, they were friendly and the prices were good, and my girlfriend got exactly what she wanted.
