When I moved to the area with my Subie the service department at McBride's was just awesome in helping me to keep it on the road as long as I desired (which is always over 200,000). Was delighted to work with Jesse and the crew in Sales when it was time to replace it! Love my new ride already...
My husband and I recently leased a car from McBride Subaru. We were fortunate enough to work with Jesse, whom I had been exchanging emails with for a week or so prior to coming in. That was helpful because he already knew what we were looking for and had some cars picked out for us to test drive. Jesse was very helpful answering all of our questions, and was very honest.
Although we weren't able to get our lease price as low as we wanted (due to negative equity on my trade in), we got it close and still within an acceptable range for us. They assured us that at the end of this lease term, we should be able to get the price we wanted, or lower, should we decide to lease again. We decided to leave a deposit for the car and take some time to think it over.
Once we decided to do it, they had all the paperwork done for us to just basically sign and drive. It took us less than 1 hour to go pick up the car!
We settled on the Forester and began the price talk. They gave me more than the KBB value for my trade in, which was shocking, but made me want to buy a car there!
I have dealt with McBride ‘s numerous times over the years and loved the friendly family atmosphere. A few years ago something changed with an entirely new sales staff. Having just moved back to the area I reluctantly took my Forester in for service and to see my trade options. I was pleasantly surprised. It feels like the local family dealership again!! The service department was great~ thorough professional and quick. Looking to trade, Shane (sales) presented me a variety of options and ultimately found me exactly what I wanted. Shane and Jason (finance) were a pleasure to work with and restored my faith in McBrides.
The only slightly negative thing that I could say is that the sales manager came over during the price talks, interrupted Jesse (who was doing just fine), to tell us things we already knew and already heard, in a kind of condescending way. Although the sales manager was fine to deal with after that interaction, if we had him as a salesman from the beginning, we would have walked away.
I first contacted Bill McBride Subaru when I saw an Outback that I liked listed on the website that said call for price, so I did. I spoke with Kara, who was able to set up a test drive the same day with me. She was very fun and easy to work with, and knowledgeable as well. Everybody that I came in contact with at the dealership was very friendly, and they not only allow dogs but encourage them. I received my new registration in the mail within a week of signing the papers, and have been greatly enjoying my inaugural Subaru experience. Interaction with the dealership, and with Kara in particular, felt like they want to build a relationship with each customer on a personal level, not just as numbers on paper.
Their Subaru dealership is fantastic - this is the first dealership (of any make/model) that can claim me as a returning customer. Sean did an excellent job of getting me into a new Forester (and I was still in love with the one I had). The negotiation process was not at all stressful and we ended up at a deal I was very comfortable with. Being a return customer, I can also say that Casey and the service department are awesome - the best I've ever dealt with. I highly recommend the Bill McBride dealership and Subaru vehicles.
Jesse really made it an east experience and would highly recommend him!
